We have been getting this error at about the same time for 2 days now:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: TermServLicensing
Event Category: None
Event ID: 44
Date: 7/11/2013
Time: 8:35:50 PM
User: N/A
Computer: JARVISI2
Description:
General database error occurred, Can't open ESE database file C:\WINNT\System32\LServer\TLSLic.edb - error -550 JET_errDatabaseInconsistent, Database is in inconsistent state.
.
I was able to get an older version of TLSLIC.EDB from the LServer\Export directory and restart the TS Licensing service each time, but we seem to be running out of available licenses (we have more than enough licenses to make us legal).
My concern is that if we reboot the server, all of the thin clients will try to access licenses that are already allocated and noone will be able to connect. I am hoping someone out there knows how to get us connected until the new server is on line.
The real problem is the Microsoft can (or won't) activate server 2000 licenses - They insist the only option is to upgrade the server.
This is a production server and we can not take it down for an upgrade, and we have consultants working on a server 2012/2008 solution but are a few weeks from putting that into service.
