Remote Desktop CALs from Server Standard 2003 to 2012

Hi,

Wanting to know if remote desktop/terminal services CALs from Server Standard 2003 can be used on Server Standard 2012?

I have tried to search everywhere and can only find information that confirms up to 2008 R2 as okay to use.
