Recommendations on Tools, Scripts, or Method to Track Stale Open Terminal Connections

Hello all,

I'd like to get some ideas from the forum on what software tools, scripts, or methods there are to keep an eye on open Terminal connections on a Windows 2008 domain.

Our dilema: At any given time our administrators and users may be logged in to multiple terminal sessions and for various reasons do not log off correctly (lost connectivity, lost power, closed the terminal window rather than log off, etc).  Most often they forget they were logged in and the sessions stay open, which has an impact on their accounts when it comes time for password renewal.

Any tools that you can recommend would be welcome, or if there is way through the event viewer that this is possible that would be even better (I imagine there is a log on event that tracks when the user logged in but not sure what that event ID would be).

Thanks.

Nes
