For Windows Server 2008 R2 and XP clients, all print jobs work fine to the redirected remote printes. However the client XPs display ther error message "Windows Presentation Foundation Terminal Server Print W has encountered a problem and must close".
This message is repeated over and over with no print requests being executed. Simply starting a remote desktop session to the server causes the error message to be displayed continuously. Hotfix 946411 is referenced in prior discussions (Oct 2009),
but states that the XP machines must have .NET 3.0 SP! to apply the hotfix. My XP machines have .NET 3.1 or 3.5 or 4.0 and all machines exhibit the same error message. Any ideas?
