We've been doing the registry fix for when a computer has issues with TS licensing.
I've observed error 46 in the logs and re-activated the license server.
However, we have way fewer computers having been issued licenses than we have licenses.
In other words we have more licenses available in Licensing Manager that really should be issued out to PCs.
And I see many error 21's in the log...corresponding to specific XenApp 6.5 servers, since the error messages contain the same IP addresses over and over again.
The licensing server / domain controller does not have RDSH role installed (I did not installed RDS services etc.) so I cannot run diagnosis.
We will continue doing the registry fix as necessary and monitoring Licensing Manager...
What else can be done toward fixing things and having proper licensing issued out??
We will eventually need more RDS Device CALs, do we just buy Windows Server 2012 Device CALs and install them into our Windows Server 2008 R2 Licensing Manager?? Or must I request and buy Windows Server 2008 R2 device CALs??
Thank you, Tom
