Hello,
we're operating a Remote Desktop farm running Server 2008 R2. Our Clients are HP ThinClients 5730/5740/4320t/t610).
The RDP Settings push hot keys (ALT+TAB etc.) to the remote computer.
Some of our Users make extensive use of Window hot keys (like ALT+TAB) and also Word shortcuts, mainly ALTGR+E (Euro sign), CTRL+Shift+Space (Hard Space), CTRL+Shift+K (italic).
Sometimes these hot keys are not working or have wrong behavior e.g. ALT+TAB not working, Hard Space and Euro sign result in centered line. This is not related to a specific type of Client and the behavior changes even in the existing session which is annoying for the users.
In some cases changing the RDP Settings to 'On the local computer', which is obviously wrong, helped.
Does anyone know about such issue or have a hint whats the cause?
Thanks!
Hermann
