Windows fax and scan won't pull up Windows Contacts Folder

I am using windows fax and scan it is defaulting to a box that attempts to use the address book or outlook contacts.  This system is 32-bit.  I would like it to default to the windows contacts folder.  When it does this on my other computer (64-bit) it defaults to the contacts folder and the box that opens is completely different.  Does anyone know how I can get the fax and scan to default to the windows contacts folder?
