I'm putting together a mixed VDI infrastructure of Win 2012R2 RDSH and Win8.1 VDI on 2012R2 Hyper-V. I've installed UE-V 2.0 and configured both sets of machines witha SettingsStoragePath of \\server\uev$\users\%username%. The 2012 RDSH installs connect to a subfolder of \users\ named after the logged-in user, as expected. The Win8.1 machines connect to \users\%username% literally. It appears the environment variable is not being expanded on Win 8.1.
Is there a way to force 8.1 to expand the variable? The path has been entered manually in the registry of each machine.
