Hi there,
I'm about to setup a new server. I my department we are about 15 admin-users - all needs to access this specific server to do long run jobs like SQL etc.
The scenario is almost the same: the admin-user login with his admin-user (not shared), starts a long term job (like a SQL), and then leaves the server by clicking the cross, leaving the session keep running.
We want to increase the number of simultaneous logins from default 2 to 5.
My question, in general, is: is it possible to have like 15 running sessions but only 5 simultaneous logins?
The technical edition: what does the number '5' means? is it running sessions or just number of simultaneous clients watching their session? Or is it as simple as 5 users = 5 simultaneous users with only 5 simultaneous sessions.
Sorry about the question - I know very little about RDP/Terminal Server/licensing etc.
