I inherited a win2008r2 RDS licensing server that has win2003 cals & win2008 cals installed.
It used to be a citrix cal server as well, but the citrix util has been removed.
We replaced the citrix servers w/rds servers running win2008r2, however the new servers cannot connect to the licensing server…..the licensing server seems to be the problem so I am trying to replace it and migrate only the win2008 cals to the new licensing server.
The problem is that no one who used to manage the licensing server has any clue how the win2008 cals were added to the original licensing server and thus they have no paperwork, agreement #, or anything.
How can I migrate just the win2008 cals to the new licensing server, given that I have no agreement #?
