Remote Destop from client disconnects every so often !

Hi All,

I have a peculiar problem with Windows 2008 R2. Fresh install. Stand alone server used as a fileserver. When we Remote into the server from a client, every so often ,randomly the client disconnects. It will count between 4 to 8 reattempts and connect again. 

Also, when I try to ping other servers from this particular server, I will lose about 50% of the packets out of the 4 sent.

Any advice ?
