Some backgroup first:
We have recently set up a 15 RDS CAL server for users to RDP into and work on an Application. This application is fully supported by the vendor through TS/RDS. Almost immediatly after installing RDS and appling the CAL's, a small amount of users starting experiencing this issue:
User logs onto desktop machine. Starts programs, checks email, normal stuff. When they try to connect to a workstation or this new server (we have XP desktops that we were too cheap to by RDS CAL's for in the past) via RDP, they are forcibly logged off their local machine. These users have nothing in common as far as this new RDS server. Some don't even have rights to log into it.
I hope I've elaborated enough, please feel free to ask/verify my setting. Any help is much appreciated. The client machine logs a normal log off request.
