I wonder if you could help me with the following question: when activating audio recording on a terminal server, is there any compression of the remote audio channel, or is it just a native redirection?
And is it possible to change the quality of audio recording? For audio playback there exists a "Limit Audio Playback Quality" setting in the policy, but I cannot find a similar option for recording?!
Additionally, could it be that audio recording doesn't work on Windows Server 2008R2 Standard edition? I didn't have success on this kind of server ("Remote Audio" didn't show up in the "recording" area), so I had to switch to "Enterprise"
edition where it works well (with identical settings).
