We think we have completed all of the client and server prerequisites to enable RDP 8.1. But how do you check whether a connection is actually using RDP 8.1?
Looking at the version of the Remote Desktop Client will not help because this only tells you what the client is capable of, not what the connection is actually using.
We cannot use the new 'strength indicator bar' because the clients are connecting to published applications externally via RD Gateway, and this is not shown.
I'm assuming there's a command or console we can run or a log we can look at?
