Hi,

Can anyone please help in resolving the below issue.

Issue:

The collection doesn't list any created VM's in the 'Virtual Desktop' list and also displays the size as '0' in Server 2012 R2 after system restart.

Steps followed:

  • Created a VM template
  • Created a Collection with 20 VMs. The collection was successfully created and was able to perform some test on all the 20 VMs.
  • Restarted the system for installing an application.
  • After restart, the collection exists in the system but there are no VMs listed in the list (But VMs are listed in the Hyper-V manager and can connect to the VMs)
  • When trying to create additional VMs it fails with the error "Unable to retrieve the details of the virtual desktop".
  • Also, on trying to create a new collection, the 'Virtual Desktop Template' doesn't list any of the templates and is empty.

Solutions Tried:

  1. Restarted the servers multiple times, but still no collection is empty.
  2. Tried un-installing the roles and services from all the servers and re-installing the servers but still the collection is empty.

Server Configurations:

AD/DC - Hosted on a server running Windows 2012.
RD CB & RD WA - Hosted on a server running Windows 2012 R2.
RDVH & RD Licensing - Hosted on a server running Windows 2012 R2 and also has Hyper-V role enabled in the server and also connects both the above servers.

Thanks in Advance!
