I have a few users who connect to a 2008 R2 terminal server who are experiencing issues. Their session screen will go blank and only display the background color scheme. Eevery time this happens I have to go into the Terminal services manager, log them off and have them try to reconnect. They are using RDP shell version 6.2.9200, Remote Desktop Protocol 8.0 supported. I noticed in Terminal Services configuration, under Connections, that there is only one connection type available which is Microsoft RDP 6.1. Could this be causing the issue? If so how do I update the Terminal server so that it can accept connections from RDP 6.2?
