Hi,
We are running an RDS infrastructure, based on several collections, containing a mix of WS2012R2 and WS2016 session hosts. There is no mix of Windows Server editions in the same collection.
A single multi-roled GW,CB,WebAccess server, is providing remote access to all the collections.
The users connect to the enviroment by Work Ressources and default RDP.
We recently starting facing an issue, where several clients can connect to the Work Ressources - while connecting to the session host by RDP through the GW, works perfectly as usual.
When the clients connect to the published Work Ressources, the connection is immediately dropped - it actually dosent seem, to actually trying to connect, since the error comes immediately after login in.
The following error is logged in the event viewer:
General :"Remote application (Remote Application Name) is launched on RemoteApp and Desktop connection (rdgw.domain.local) but no stored credentials are used for single sign on. (Reason - RemoteApp and Desktop connection does not exist)"
Log Name: Microsoft-Windows-RemoteApp- and Desktop Connections/Operational
Event ID: 1041
We have traced the logfiles at the GW server, and the client dosent appear anywhere - other clients appears just fine.
We have done the following, in order to find the root cause:
Removed all the Work Ressources at the client side, and successfully connected added the Work Ressources again.
Still cant open up any of the Work Ressources.
Moved the users facing the issue to a new computer, and successfully opened the Work Ressources.
Meaning the problem is limited to the Client Operating System.
Removed the Cached Credentials in the Control Panel & in Stored Credentials (rundll32 keymgr.dll,KRShowKeyMgr)
We are fairly sure that the problem is due to SSO, but havent been able to find a solution, how to "reset" Work Ressources for an entire machine.
Any help would be much appreciated!
