Hi Guys,
I have a somewhat odd issue with RD Virtualisation host delivered via RD Web Access on my connection broker. Basically our deployment has a connection broker, RD Gateway, license server and RD web access components on 1 x server and then we have various other servers running RD Session Host and RD Virtualisation Host.
Everything is working just fine, the RDWeb portal shows all the apps on the Session Hosts and these run fine internally and externally, however the Virtualisation Host only works within the same network so for example if I open any of my collections from RD Web inside the same network its fine, if I open them outside from the internet they load to the point of initialising remote connection and then fail.
All other apps and full desktops via the session host work externally and if I manually NAT a VM running in the hyper v used for virtualisation host to an external IP I can connect via RDP. I’m very sure it’s not my firewall (which is a Cisco ASA 5550 for info) as all other apps are working just fine, it’s something with the virtualisation host, and I can’t work out what! The only meaningful error I get is on the event log of the virtualisation host server which is:
Remote Desktop Virtualization Host failed to get redirection authentication information from the virtual machine [Win-7VDI6] .
Hresult: 0x8000FFFF
I’m not really sure where to go from here I’m pretty sure it can’t be a firewall issue, but if anyone has any pointers that would be great.
Thanks
Joe
